So, for a limited time only, from 24-27 March 2015, there’s a bountiful array of first-class Norwegian seafood featured in the buffet dinner at Serena Brasserie at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. That’s just 4 days for you to gorge yourself silly on the awesome spread.
For this promotion which is also in collaboration with GST Group, Norwegian guest chef Markus Peter Dybwad will be present. This young and humble chef comes with lots of experience from Scandinavia and Europe including 3-Michelin star restaurant, The Fat Duck alongside celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.
Chef Markus will be at hand to personally prepare a delectable assortment of codfish, salmon, halibut and blue mussels. If you like Scandinavian cuisine, then you’ll be delighted to savour traditional specialities like the cold dishes of skagen salad (creamed seafood salad), smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, herrings, smoked mackerel and cured salmon trout “Gravalaks” style. There will also be hot dishes such as baked salmon fillet, halibut in cream sauce, Atlantic cod with soy butter and red fish with ratatouille.

Besides the extensive Norwegian seafood spread, the buffet also features other local and international cuisines. Executive Chef Sam Kung has come up with a variety of dishes cooked with exotic local spices. Specials include salmon satay, salmon tandoori and green curry using Atlantic cod. For more spicy stuff, don’t forget the check out the pots of scrumptious curries and rendang.
