As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is all set to celebrate the season with Sajian Istimewa offerings – from a curated collection of heritage dining experiences to festive giftings. Thoughtfully crafted by the hotel chefs that has been certified by the National Heritage Department of Malaysia, the buffet celebrates iconic heritage dishes and staple favourites traditionally enjoyed during the season of reflection and unity.


SAJIAN ISTIMEWA DINNER BUFFET AT LEMON GARDEN
At the heart of Sajian Istimewa is Lemon Garden’s signature dinner buffet, available from 18 February to 20 March 2026.


The buffet menu rotates throughout the season and presents a carefully curated selection of heritage dishes, prepared by certified heritage cuisine chefs led by Malay specialty chef, Mohammad Safril. Among the highlights is Ayam Golek Istana, a regal dish from the royal kitchens of Kedah. Guests can also savour Udang Masak Tempoyak Sarawak, Sambal Taun Jangek, Pekasam Daging and Tunjang Gulai – unique and satisfying traditional dishes seldom served.


Completing the heritage selection is Keli Salai Masak Lemak Cili Padi Bersama Belimbing Buluh, Paru Bersantan, Pais Ikan Jenahak Berempah and Kambing Golek Berempah.
Other festive staples complete the experience, including ketupat, lemang served with a variety of fragrant serunding and classic desserts such as ais kacang, chendol and pengat pisang, ensuring a satisfying and complete dining experience.


Through Sajian Istimewa, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur invites guests to savour the essence of Malay heritage, with every dish prepared with authenticity, care and respect for tradition.

Don’t miss Ramadan favourites like the Warung Goreng-Goreng and Warung Kuih Cara where more local traditional Malaysian snacks are served.
Complementing the heritage-rich offerings, Lemon Garden also presents an extensive selection of international cuisines, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both worlds.
