NOOK, the all-day dining restaurant in Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral is all set to delight diners with their selections of local and international flavours. Coined as an “A-List Malaysian Feast”, it’s available during the holy month from 8 June till 7 July 2016. The fusion selection of delectable dishes is prepared by Malay Specialty Chef at NOOK, Chef Hamid Buyong together with his team of chefs.
Chef Hamid hails from Kuala Lumpur and brings with him more than 20 years of culinary experience in both Malaysian and western cuisines. His array of authentic Malaysian dishes use recipes which are passed down from generations. The 39-year-old chef’s passion in food and cooking started when he was 16 years old and with his deep understanding of Malaysian gastronomy, his passion has not waned at all.

During this month-long feature, diners will get to indulge on favourite Malay dishes like crab curry, beef shin rendang, stuffed whole lamb rice, udang masak lemak, “laksa Sarawak”, “ayam sambal petai”, “daging kurma”, “sup tulang rawan” and the popular “bubur lambuk”.

From the Chinese counter, there will be the crowd-pleasing Steamed fish with black beans anchovy sauce, wok-fried roasted duck and poached lamb shank. The international spread includes staples like oyster au gratin, grilled samba fish, honey barbecue chicken wings and others.
Save space for the desserts as there will be a good variety to choose from. Take your pick from sweet “bubur” like bubur pulut hitam, “sago gula melaka”, continental cakes and pastries, puddings, Raya goodies like dodol and bahulu.
The A-List Malaysian Feast is priced at RM123 nett per person. Early Bird special is available from now till 7 June at RM95 nett for purchases of 35 vouchers and RM85 nett for purchases above 35 vouchers.
