Recently, Hilton Kuala Lumpur showcased an array of plant-based culinary creations specially crafted by their in-house chefs, available exclusively for dine-in from October 2021 onwards.

As part of the Hilton Worldwide Travel with Purpose sustainability program, this nationwide “Mindful Meals” campaign was launched to raise awareness on healthy eating and responsible sourcing.

Partnering with 3 award-winning meat substitute brands: Beyond Meat, TiNDLE, and Fable, homegrown ingredients are used in the dishes available in participating outlets at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. This collaboration with local farmers and partners is a timely and much-needed initiative to highlight the best of local food as well as the importance of sustainable and nutritious diets, especially during an age where environmental and health risks are at an all-time high.

National Marketing Communications Director Eugene Oelofse says, “Mindful Meals is all about promoting mindful eating and mindful consumption in an effort to reduce food waste, address food security, and improve health. We wanted to curate a dining experience that is as palate-pleasing as it is purposeful, and we also want to provide a platform for local farmers and plant-based brands to showcase what they have to offer and unite for a common cause.”




TiNDLE plant-based chicken, is a mouth-watering meat experience that is better for the planet: TiNDLE requires 74% less land, 82% less water while also producing 88% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional chicken. Made with only 9 simple ingredients, TiNDLE contains no antibiotics, hormones or cholesterol, making it a healthier choice, as are the ‘red meat’ options from Beyond Meat and the ‘pulled meat’ version from Fable, the ‘umami’ flavours from mushrooms that won’t leave you with the feeling that you are missing out on your proteins.




Featured dishes include Beyond Meat Baos at Chynna, Tindle Chicken Katsu Set at Iketeru, Teriyaki Glazed Pulled Fable Meat Baguette at Oro Cafe & The Lounge, and organic vegetable side dishes at Chamber’s Grill. Here familiar favourites are given a healthier, plant-based twist and are no less delicious!


All main dishes are available for dine-in only in Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The organic side dishes at Chamber’s Grill are available on Friday to Sunday from 6 pm to 10 pm.
