Located somewhere in the Teluk Panglima Garang area flanked by Banting, Pulau Carey and overlooking a branch of the Langat River is I Suka Restaurant. It’s a location where vehicle workshops, light industrial warehouses and small local businesses abound and I Suka Restaurant commands a good view of the river and the lush greenery by the banks. This pork-free restaurant is extremely popular with golfers after their games at nearby Amverton Cove.
I Suka is huge – with a spacious main dining hall and numerous private rooms with karaoke. Their menu features mainly seafood, but of course secondary dishes of vegetables, tofu and chicken are also available. Our meal there focused on their fresh seafood – crabs, prawns, clams and squids were good.
Service here can be kinda inconsistent, depending on the time of visit. Prices are a bit higher than average and the road leading to the restaurant is rough. Plenty of parking and the river-view dining is a plus!
