This Ramadan, DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City proudly presents local favorites with an extensive celebratory menu featuring themed buffets at Makan Kitchen. This buffet dinner is part of the nationwide ‘Citarasa Serantau’ campaign by Hilton Hotels in Malaysia.
Inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, this year’s theme features iconic flavors of Malaysia and beyond. “Citarasa Serantau” which means flavors or taste from the region, not only highlights local favorites but also dishes from our neighboring countries like Indonesia and Thailand. Of course Malaysia stands out as the center of diversity in Asia and Citarasa Serantau at Hilton, is a gastronomical testament to that!
Makan Kitchen will feature a variety of its signature dishes and action stalls that promises a feast for the senses. The buka puasa buffet menus are also kept on a weekly rotation to give diners a fresh experience every time. The festive spread features a wide array of premium signature dishes such as nasi minyak berempah, ayam goreng lengkuas, sotong sambal petai, kepah kukus cili api, bendi goreng belacan and kailan masak ikan masin.
Guests will get to enjoy live stations featuring Ramadan specials such as rojak buah Pak Muaz and rojak tonggek.
Besides the popular local Malay items, Makan Kitchen also serves a variety of Indian specialty dishes, Chinese cuisine and seafood-on-ice.
