I think it’s a great offer, particularly for crab lovers. Diners can choose their live crabs from a tank and the culinary crew will serve the Chilli Crabs at your table. Deep-fried mantou buns are served together with the sweet meaty crabs – they are so necessary to mop up every drop of that delicious thick chilli sauce. Although disposable gloves are provided, nothing beats eating these succulent crustaceans with bare fingers – gives “finger lickin’ good” a whole new meaning!

We’re really impressed with the freshness of the seafood at this buffet. Shelled seafood like prawns, slipper lobsters, langoustines, yabbies, clams, mussels and scallops were amazingly fresh and we lost count of the number of buckets of these we had. We just scooped lots of these into the shiney buckets and had them cooked in various sauces like the fiery Thai-style Coriander Lime, rich and creamy Garlic Cheese and our favourite Salted Eggyolk.

Besides the huge selection of fresh seafood, the buffet also serves the other usual spreads – local and western favourites. Expect to make hard choices (because everything looks good!) for the hot and cold dishes at the Japanese, Chinese, Local and International counters. And desserts, don’t forget the sweets!
