For just 2 evenings this month – 14 & 15 July 2023, guests at Tosca DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur will get to savour a special wine-pairing dinner. This is a special collaboration between Tosca and Gooddam, showcasing the skills of their chefs.

Chef Murli Pillay from Tosca and Chef Daniel Yap from Gooddam will join hands to curate a special 5-course menu for these 2 nights. Both chefs, with their combined skills and culinary prowess will be executing a carefully selected lineup of delectable dishes to excite and titillate the palates of discerning diners.

The 5-course dinner will kick-off with pretty Amuse Bouche bites from Chef Daniel. The platter consists of:
- Black Angus Short Ribs Arancino with sundried tomato aioli & summer truffle
- Oyster Beignet with green onion fondue
- Liver mousse, strawberry vinegar caramel, weeds & flowers
- Aged Hamachi Crudo, pickled pumpkin & spiced passionfruit

For a refreshing start, the Amuse Bouche is paired with the sparkling Sanfeletto Prosecco Superior.


This will be followed by Chef Murli’s Starter of Symphony of Heirloom Tomatoes with aged balsamic and goat cheese panna cotta.

Chef Daniel’s Pasta dish comes next – a pretty presentation of Agnolotti from Summer showcasing Wolf Herring Mousse, Red Coral & Hot Nasturrium Flower Butter. We love the light citrussy Fantini Pinot Grigio paired with this dish.


The Maita Course from Chef Murli is Rack of Lamb served with pickled purple carrot, celeriac puree and màche & thyme jus. A robust Cecchi Chianti DOCG matched the lamb nicely with its earthy and slightly tart undertones.



To round off the dinner, Chef Daniel’s Dessert of Marsala & Sabayon Ice Cream flanked with Woodfire Fig & Fig Leaf Meringue does a good job.
