Every year the Oriental Group of Restaurants holds their Annual Chef Signature Feast, which started 15 years ago. This annual event is always something to look forward to as it featured their talented local chefs collaborating with renowned international chefs presenting memorable culinary creations for diners.
As this year is the Oriental Group of Restaurants’ 25th Anniversary, special dishes are featured in the celebration. Curated by 5 of their veteran Master Chefs with a total of 88 years’ service within the Group and 150 years‘ experience accumulatively, these special dishes will be showcased in Grand Dinners in their various outlets from 8-28 August 2024. In case you miss the Grand Dinners, these dishes will still be available in September.
For those who love Yee Sang, do have the Special Fruits & Vegetables Salad and toss it with crispy fried enoki mushrooms and fried soft shell crabs – so reminiscent of CNY!
Double-boiled Soup with Chicken stuffed with birds nest, sharkskin and fresh crabmeat is a joy to slurp! Every spoonful of this nutritious soup needs to be slowly savoured to enjoy it to the max!
A golden roasted Suckling Pig is always welcome in any celebration. More so when it’s served with slices of Iberico pork and sandwiched with premium Hongkong goose liver sausage and cha siu sauce.
Braised Lotus Root with 5-head Abalones and dried seafood tasted as delicious as its impressive appearance. The laborious 4-hour braising of the lotus roots rendered it tender and smooth to the bite – perfectly paired with the exquisite abalones and seafood.
The Taro Pear is a taro puff formed into a pear shape with filling of Kurobuta pork.
Braised Ramen with King Prawn is a simplistic noodles item. Just soft silky ramen cooked in a rich prawny broth.
If you are a fan of the Chinese Almond Cream, you would love their version made with smooth egg white. More sweets come in the form of Jade Corn Dessert and Matcha Mochi with creamy filling.
