October is set to be a tremendously exciting month as far as Food is concerned. I think gourmets, gourmands, gluttons and all who are enamoured with food will welcome October with wide open arms and stomachs. There’s Oktoberfest, the MIGF 2013 and then there’s the inaugural Kuala Lumpur Restaurant Week!
From 4-11 October 2013, more than 45 dining establishments – popular restaurants specializing in different cuisines will be offering special menus starting from RM20 nett for lunch (2-course) and RM50 (3-course) nett for dinner.
Participating restaurants will set aside limited seats offering the KL Restaurant Week menus.
Reservations can only be made online on www.klrestaurantweek.com on a first come first serve basis. A booking fee of RM2 per seat applies. Direct reservations to the restaurants will not be possible.

We love the piping hot soups served in Opus. Thick and creamy, it’s easy to see that fresh ingredients are used in the soups – the aromas of fresh asparagus and mushrooms are unmistakable! The Salmon Rolls with Rocket really rock too!

The pastas are equally good – the flavours in both the Aragosta Spaghetti and Linguine Zucchini & Prawns are robust and rustic. Their Chef Ariff is a pro at cooking pastas, really.
