The Fire Monkey will be cavorting in very soon, ushering a brand new lunar year in less than a month from now. At The Emperor, the award-winning Chinese restaurant in Dorsett Grand Subang, Executive Chinese Chef Loh Jiunn Voon and his team has come up with 3 special 8-course Chinese New Year feasts.
At the centre of these feasts is the Golden Prosperity Yee Sang with fresh salmon, silver bait fish, mangoes and other goodies for that “golden” combination. The yee sang may look plain initially, before tossing. But once we lifted the ingredients and toss them up, the rainbow of treasures burst into view.
The prices of yee sang start from RM58.00 nett. This Chinese New Year, with every purchase of Yee Sang, guests can indulge in selected dishes for RM8.00 nett only.
The Golden Prosperity Yee Sang is available from 8 January to 22 February 2016 for lunch and dinner.
It’s time to make bookings for the celebration feasts with loved ones during the Chinese New Year. We had a preview of some of the dishes to be served in the 3 special set menus.

I would say generally, Executive Chinese Chef Loh and his culinary team have done a remarkable job with the dishes offered. Tastes and quality of ingredients were really good at the preview and if these are maintained, then The Emperor at Dorsett Grand Subang is a good choice of venue for your festive feasting this Chinese New Year if you are looking for a location in a hotel.
