With less restrictive processes now for the celebration of Chinese New Year, families and friends can get together but still practising strict SOPs, the coming festive period is indeed something to look forward to.

Summer Palace Chinese Restaurant at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel is a good choice due to its spacious elegant setup. With Executive Chinese Chef James Chai Chuan Suing helming the kitchen, diners are in for a treat, especially delectable Hakka and Teochew dishes. Growing up in family environment steeped in these traditional cuisines, Chef Chai’s skills and talent have been further honed by his years of experience and passion in exploring modern interpretations in his repertoire. Guests can look forward to some of Chef Chai’s creative take using premium western ingredients such as caviar, truffle and foie gras in traditional Chinese dishes.

“Fatt Choy Feasts” by Chef Chai and his culinary team are available until 15 February 2022. Prosperity Yee Sang is a must-have in these feasts and guests can choose from a variety, eg with salmon, ice fish, Hokkaido scallops or abalones. Three special Set Meals are available, starting from RM1,788 for 10 pax. We had a taste of some of the signature dishes from the 3 set menus and it was a delightful gastronomical and visual feast!
