For 6 whole days since 15 November 2015, there’s an air of sheer indulgence at The InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s dining outlets. The InterContinental Kuala Lumpur World Celebrity Chef Series 2015 continues with Tim Clark, an acclaimed Master Pastry Chef and Melbourne’s award-winning artisan chocolatier and patissier. This celebrity chocolatier has trained extensively in a 1-star Michelin restaurant before setting a blazing trail in pastry arts from international luxury cruise liners to being the youngest Executive Pastry Chef in Crowne Melbourne.
A few days ago I had a chance to meet Tim Clark at the Artisanal Afternoon Tea at IVIV (OneSixtyFive) Lounge & Bar of the hotel. I was totally enthralled by the chocolate art pieces created by this talented chocolatier on grand display at the lounge. The stunning centrepiece depicted a chocolate garden (all edible) flourishing with colourful exotic blooms, magic toadstools, pebbles, grains and foliage with incredibly life-like lines and textures.
“Creations can be amazing in both visuals and tastes”, proclaimed Tim Clark and how true that is. The Artisanal Afternoon Tea at IVIV featured fine teas from TWG as well.
