I first met Florian Nigen when he was operating Rendez-Vous French Restaurant in Bangsar more than 2 years ago. When his business partner decided to return to France, Florian decided to start something smaller and more manageable on his own. Scouting around Bangsar, he spotted a corner lot in a quieter part of Bangsar which he deemed would be perfect for his new venture. Hence “Chez Gaston” took shape along Jalan Bangsar Utama 9, a road housing several smaller eateries, a convenience store and … [Read more...]

Have you heard? Kuala Lumpur’s latest hotel - Hotel Stripes, an Autograph Collection property has just opened its doors to guests a few days ago. Located in a quiet intermediate lot, it’s rather easy to pass by and not realise you have passed by a restaurant serving delicate, mostly … [Read more...]
TOPSHELF’s New Menu

There’s no denying that Chef Pierre is a marvellous chef and his passion is clear for all to see when he dishes up the most delicious authentic French fare from his neat kitchen in Croisette Cafe. It’s a cosy casual little place but from its simple kitchen comes delightful French fare prepared with love by Chef Pierre. With the introduction of … [Read more...]
