The famous Pun Chun restaurant in Bidor does not need any introduction, I’m sure. Well, if you’re fan of what Pun Chun offers and if you’re living in the
The newly-opened Pun Chun Noodle House in Kota Kemuning is a spin-off of their famous restaurant in Bidor. Located in a corner lot on a quieter area of the Kemuning town centre – on the 2nd block of shops from the main road; nevertheless it has been drawing a good crowd since its opening a couple of months ago.
Of course, prices are steeper than in Bidor – this IS
Their Cha-Siew (BBQ Pork) Wantan Noodles cost RM5.80 for a “big” portion. However, to me, their “big” portion was really not big – it’s almost equivalent to a small portion of any regular wantan noodles, trust me. I must say the quality of their wantan noodles are well maintained here – they taste the same as in Bidor – slightly thicker noodles, with their trademark “chewiness”…tossed in a dark soya sauce concoction – just delicious!
The 3 pieces of wantan served had chopped shrimps in them – very fresh and the soup has been well boiled – it tasted of good chicken + pork stock.
I had their Dry Curry Pork Ribs Noodles (RM5.50) for a “big” portion. The ribs had been cooked to perfect tenderness, totally infused with their fragrant lemak curry. It went very well with the noodles.

Oh, I must say their Iced White Coffee (RM1.80) is truly very good. It has a very “kau” unique coffee taste and I absolutely loved it – I was almost tempted to buy their 3-in-1 packets which were available at the shop.
They also have a variety of their famous chicken biscuits in the shop.
Besides wantan noodles, they serve another local favourite on their menu: Nasi Lemak! Served with either Rempah Chicken or
It’s great that Kemuning finally has a decent noodles shop and despite the higher prices, this joint is proving to be quite a hit with the residents there.
