nomad: They spent a bomb on the ID of the shop (it looks nice la) so i guess they hv to recoup with such prices! Anyway, most “upmarket” kopitiams like these in Klang Valley charge similar prices, ok! Old Town is tremendously OVER-RATED! Their coffee sucks and most times, service sucks even worse. Kluang Stn – i like their coffee, foodwise – average nia!I think i can cook better nasi lemak than all of them put together, lol!

Eeps!! Isn’t it strange how the old kopitiam concept is still mushrooming? I would’ve thought the novelty factor would’ve plateaued, given Old Town’s guerilla type invasion! Pan Mee and curry CCF over this anyday!

Went to the first store in Singapore. The experience was quite traumatic.Firstly lunch was only available at 12pm(we got there at 1130am) Placed the orders nevertheless but the last dish didnt come until 1.00pm which was meant for my 8 yr old son.He was really hungry by then. There were only 6 of us (3 adults and 3 kids) and guess what, the bill came out to be S$108! Btw Papparich is a US based pastry concept. Nothing original about this paparich except their ridiculous prices and very ordinary food.
