Wow…that RM54 can feed 4-5 people in Klang! But I guess since it's a shopping mall, have to close one eye, hor? =_=

yeah… having BKT in malls are always an expensive affair. But then, Pao Xiang in 1Utama is TOO near my house and it's as good as it gets when it comes to my fav BKT place. Others are too far and me? too lazy to drive..
apparently there's one shop in KLang (in city centre) that has the best herbal soup (so thick and fragrant that I still remember until today). But I have forgotten the exact location and I didn't keep in touch with the friend that brought me there already… sigh!!!
Will try to search for it soon

wow. mini-fortune. My favourite place of all time for BKT is Kim Tek BKT down in Selayang. Sells out early though 😉

Truthfully, I did not like it. Tried them at the Tmn Berkeley outlet, and wondered what's the big deal.

I don't mind a little grease, fat or what-nots once in a while.

Lol on the white lie! Haha! I agree that the soup's pretty mild, unlike the klang version. I guess they gear towards the medicinal part also, hence thr different herbs combo.

Leo: 1U location must be very convenient for u whenever u get the BKT urges, haha! Do let us know if u ever remember that elusive Klang BKT joint u mentioned!

  7. PureGlutton says

Frat: You are right – Klang BKT, esp those fr Teluk Pulai ROCKS – but if u are not anywhere in that vicinity, just settle for the mall lor 😉

  8. PureGlutton says

Nic: OK, we shall view BKT (from now on) as "medicinal" and not fatty, cholesterol-laden, unhealthy etc etc …lol!
